Cobalt quartz fleck
A strong, clean blue with a sparkle fleck. Brings life to clinical corridors and washrooms.
Vinyl & safety flooring
Slip-resistant and hygienic vinyl for the spaces where safety can't be a compromise. Kitchens, washrooms, healthcare and wet areas, all fitted with sealed, easy-clean finishes that stand up to constant use.

Safety flooring is a specialist anti-slip sheet vinyl with grip built into the surface, designed to stay slip-resistant even when wet. In kitchens, washrooms, clinical areas and entrances, that grip is the difference between a safe floor and a liability waiting to happen. The sheets are welded together to form a continuous, sealed surface with no joints for water or dirt to get into, which keeps the space hygienic and easy to clean.
As a commercial flooring contractor covering all of London, we supply and fit safety flooring for healthcare, education and food-service environments. We help you choose the right slip rating and finish for each area, then fit it properly, with hot-welded seams and coved skirtings where a fully sealed, wipe-clean detail is needed. The whole job is supply and fit under one written quote, with no surprises, and where a site can't close we work out of hours so it's ready when you reopen.
Specifying safety flooring well is about matching the product to the risk. A busy commercial kitchen handling grease and water needs a far higher level of slip resistance than a clinic corridor or a school washroom, and the wrong choice is either unsafe or unnecessarily harsh underfoot to clean. We assess each area, recommend an appropriate slip rating and finish, and detail the welded seams and coving so the result is both safe and genuinely hygienic, fitted to manufacturer specifications throughout.
Safe doesn't mean dull
Modern safety vinyl comes in proper colours and finishes, not just institutional grey. A flavour of the spread below; the right slip rating for each area comes first, then we match the look.

A strong, clean blue with a sparkle fleck. Brings life to clinical corridors and washrooms.

Warm and forgiving of everyday marks. Well suited to kitchens, care homes and school food areas.

Enhanced barefoot grip for showers, changing rooms and pool surrounds, in a fresh, bright tone.
Why safety flooring
Anti-slip aggregate is built into the body of the vinyl, so grip is maintained as the floor wears rather than being a coating that rubs off.
Designed to stay safe underfoot when wet, making it the right choice for kitchens, washrooms, wet rooms and entrances.
Hot-welded joints create a continuous surface with no gaps for water or bacteria, keeping clinical and food areas hygienic.
The floor can be carried up the wall as a coved skirting, removing the dirt-trapping floor-to-wall joint for an easy-clean detail.
A sealed, smooth surface wipes and disinfects cleanly, suiting the infection-control needs of healthcare and clinical spaces.
Built for constant footfall, trolleys and cleaning regimes, safety flooring holds up in some of the busiest commercial areas.

Safety flooring FAQs
Safety flooring is a specialist sheet vinyl with slip-resistant aggregate built into the surface, so it keeps its grip even when wet. Unlike a smooth vinyl or LVT, the slip resistance is designed into the body of the material rather than being a surface coating that can wear away, which is what makes it suitable for kitchens, washrooms and clinical wet areas.
It depends on the area. Slip resistance is commonly described using R ratings, with higher figures offering more grip for wetter or greasier environments such as commercial kitchens, while entrances and washrooms may need a different specification again. We assess each area and specify the appropriate rating rather than applying a single product everywhere.
In wet and clinical areas the sheets are hot-welded together so the joints become continuous and sealed, leaving nowhere for water, dirt or bacteria to collect. Paired with coved skirtings that carry the floor up the wall, this creates a hygienic, wipe-clean surface that is easy to keep to a high standard, ideal for healthcare and school settings.
No. Because the surface is sealed and the seams are welded, safety flooring is straightforward to clean and disinfect, which is exactly why it is so widely used in healthcare, education and food preparation areas where hygiene is a priority.
